The Iced out fang shaped lip of a Huzzas slab from above, dappled lighting peeking through a thick cloud bank creates a slight reflection.
To gain this perspective requires sacrificing being able to be out on the water infront of the wave. Im not very game to try and launch from a jetski so I have begun the process of learning how to study Huzzas from the air, via the land.
Maybe it is just my brain but it feels like there is lots going on when im trying to shoot waves with a drone, maybe its the multiple crashes in the ocean but i feel like the drones just gonna crash, im gonna do something wrong with the toggles, and then I need to frame the moment in the screen, while not really seeing whats coming, just dealing with what comes onto the screen and pre emptying a small delay with the shutter button, of which the screen goes black during shooting so you cant see where your flying or what the wave has done.
I used to need a lie down after flying the drone, now i just celebrate its safe return with a loud cheer.
