Witnessing waves at this size means alot of waiting around studying swell charts relentlessly for potential windows of alignment to go out and visit Huzzas. At this size, the ocean conditions we seek are more toward light winds if possible, and even then, what is predicted seems to be on its own program down here. This day wasn't supposed to be strong winds, but being an exposed ocean it was fairly blustery. Its not super fun trying to drive back to shore into the wind and water blasting into your eyeballs, but having witnessed thirty foot high moments like this right infront of your eyes, you will deal with getting your feathers ruffled. This is a truly mind boggling experience.
