This moment that you are looking at is every bit of forty feet high, probably closer to fifty, It produced a phenomenon ive never experienced, and haven't again since. As the full force of the wave landed, the whole ocean around me trembled. You could feel it vibrating up through the ski, like an earthquake rolling underwater. I feel there is such a contrast to this moment immortalised that looks almost like volcanic glass warped and twisted, versus the jelly like sensation
I experienced. I am standing upright on the jetski taking this alone on the southern ocean. These expeditions all seem to be special in their own right, but this is one experience I will never forget.
