Staring down into the belly of Huzzas as the Southern Ocean slams violently into a barnacle encrusted granite slab in extremely close proximity. The intensity of this moment matches my experience in creating it.
The Jade green colour is created by sediment flushed out to sea following months of intense winter rain as storms belted the coastline non stop. It was amazing to have a break in the weather and see some interesting water colour and a very powerful ocean. If you look in through the lip you will notice a variation of colouring that is the differing density of sediment, Throughout the day these colours fluctuated from brown to greeny blue seemingly dependant on the density of the fluctuating sediment blooms..
