A young soul weeps in silence, entangled in the radiant illusion of the phenomenal world. Her tears, crystal manifestations of longing, flow not for what is lost—but for what was never hers. Inspired by Schopenhauer’s philosophy, this artwork reflects the conflict between the individual will and the inscrutable, indifferent force that governs existence. Surrounded by ephemeral beauty, she becomes both witness and victim of a world where desire breeds suffering, and only aesthetic contemplation offers brief relief from the tyranny of will.
