ALCHEMY

I turn my pain to gold and transform the disappointments into the drive to be free. Facing myself and seeing all the faults but allowing that to be my light. I control not what happens to me but in how I face it. I do not allow the experiences of trauma swallow me into the abyss. Courage is easy when it’s not needed. I will myself to stand tall in my weakest moments because that is when all I want to do is fall to my knees. I know however that my path lays across the darkness so I fear it not when the light is faded.
