She was never just one name.
Between breaths, something fractured. Not broken but interrupted. Like a signal lost between two worlds, her existence flickers between who she was and what she is becoming. The mask is not a disguise, but a memory… something that once protected her, now refusing to let go.
Her left eye remembers. Her right eye denies. Voices linger beneath her skin, whispering fragments of lives that were never fully hers. Each step forward feels like trespassing into a version of herself she doesn’t recognize. Yet, she keeps moving not out of courage, but because stopping would mean facing the silence.
And silence is where the truth waits. In the space between her human face and the oni she conceals, there is no balance only tension. A constant pull. A question without an answer:
If identity can be interrupted…who decides when it resumes?
