We humans are social beings; we live to coexist and communicate with one another and the whole world around us. Since our creation, we’ve engineered and crafted various languages to communicate as a species—languages bound to specific cultural and geographical constructs. And the moment we’re born, we begin to assimilate the most prominent one around us.
But amidst all the incredible and increasingly complex languages we’ve created as a species, we have one language that’s practically born with us and collectively understood by every single individual alive, and that’s body language, the interestingly complex but simple means to pass a message across without saying words but expressing mannerisms with the very parts of our bodies.
As simple as it sounds, it’s still one of the most used means of communication our species has adapted since creation.
This artwork captures the essence of this beautiful part of our existence. It features one hundred manually posed renders illustrating emotions and how we express them through body posture, incorporating looped animated circle geometry to convey the beautiful complexity of the thoughts behind these expressions. This is AnjolaDave's Body ✦ Language.
