There are borders everywhere.
Between water and earth,
light and darkness,
one creature and another.
We build them,
we name them,
and we believe they separate us.
But look closely.
The same roots cross beneath every pond.
The same water reflects every sky.
Perhaps the border was never a wall.
Perhaps it was only a line we drew
to make the whole appear as many.
