The Gaze as a Portal to the Sacred (Gaudí)

This piece embodies the fusion between human thought and the Gaudí-inspired Neo-Gothic architecture of the Episcopal Palace of Astorga. The face becomes the invisible foundation of the chapel: a perfect symmetry in which the ribbed vaults spring directly from the gaze, as though the stone were the result of a projection of the mind. In this work, the architecture of Astorga ceases to be a rigid and religious space and transforms into a biological temple. The arches subtly pulse to the rhythm of an invisible heartbeat, while the lines of the stone merge with living flesh, transforming the traditional mystical experience into an organic, immersive, and digital revelation.
