A blue Mustang drives through a curtain of doves. Odile rides the last tram, filming. Gaspard Bleu lets his dove go. In a flooded ballroom, Le Roi Blanc waits for someone to ask him to dance, and Margot steps out of the mirror while you are looking at your reflection.
The Porcelain Androids are the cast: skin of white glaze, cobalt tears, pearls, and hairline cracks that spread when you look at them too long. The glaze shatters on the beat, then mends.
Cut hard to the beat of its own score, "Porcelaine": held stares, sudden breaks, a world that looks expensive and fragile at once.
