A collage painting brought to life, then taken apart.
It begins as a still: torn fashion papers, spray paint and ink, the sea under DREAMING OF THE SUN, and a woman with SHE written across her leg. Then the painting wakes. The faces look around, the woman in black lifts her hand, the woman on her leg turns away and back, the sea rolls, and scraps of paper lift off the surface.
The camera moves into the painting. Every paper, figure and mark sits at its own depth, so the painting you know from the front becomes a space to travel through: past the spray paint, between the women, down to the sea. For the final seconds everything settles back into place, and it ends where it began, on the painting.
Soundtrack: La Mer Souvient.
