one of the biggest things that the covid pandemic reminded me of
was how important family is in our lives
the situation was not ideal but the reminder was necessary
fast forward to this past spring, not soon after, we had found out we were pregnant with our first child (a boy!)
we decided to take a trip to the bay
we figured this might be the last serious traveling we did before the little guy was with us
we had a great time seeing all the sites
one of the mornings we decided to wake up early to make sure we caught sunrise
we picked battery spencer
a well known spot but we were hoping for it to not crowded
we were fortunate to have some spectacular weather and conditions
i was blessed with this shot which i felt was different from what i've seen from others on location
i did not know when i took it, the unique details
such as the covid mask
and so many cool messages on the locks
it was meant to be
considering my thoughts and intentions
one in particular stands out dead center
a golden lock that says:
family 4 ever
