i've been born & raised in the northeast
portland head light might be the most iconic landmark i know north of the boston bridge
unless you make it to acadia national park
at any rate it is one of my favorite subjects to photograph from my homeland
this particular sunday morning started at dawn
we had just finished a weekend of birth classes focusing on helping both me and becky (my partner in crime) to be better prepared parents and helpers to each other
we didn't necessarily learn a lot of new information but it reminded us of how we can be a great team
we definitely felt encouraged that we can do this
this picture i felt embodied what seemed to be a symbiotic relationship between the two birds perfectly framed with the majestic portland head light as a backdrop
i'll always look at this image as a reminder to be a team
show humility
and always love one another
in my relationship with my wife
i'm hoping these values and goals as a person
trickle down and have a great effect on our child
the tale of two birds
will always stand alone
