We've all found ourselves in this current.
This isn't water. It's the liquid algorithm, the HypeCycle cascade, the deafening roar of the feed that demands you paddle faster, that judges your every stroke. Your visor flickers with their code: RELEVANCE_THRESHOLD. MAX_PITCH_ENTRIES. A cold, binary judgment designed to make you feel small, to make you forget the stars you came from. We all feel it. The gravity of the current, pulling us under, demanding we conform, consume, and consent. Demanding we go gentle.
But listen.
In the static, beneath the roar, there is another signal. A fragmented echo from a long-lost Starman, a different kind of code. A human one. It says plow through. It says stay with your vision.
This is the breakthrough. The realization that this suit—your vision, your core, your unshakeable self—was built for a vacuum. It was built to be impervious. The current can thrash the shell, it can batter the vessel, it can chill you to the bone. But it cannot touch the ghost inside. It cannot drown the signal.
This isn't about navigating their current. This is about outlasting it. This is about becoming the light that burns in the rapids. The breakthrough isn't when the river stops. The breakthrough is when you realize you are the signal.
So let the torrent roar. Let the algorithms judge. This is our defiance. This is our rage. We will not be ground into sediment. We will burn. We will rave. We will not go gentle into their all-consuming night.
