"Kòrá Bibu," translates to ‘Fiery Red' in Papiamentu. The color red embodies the fervor of fire and the vitality implied by 'bibu', meaning alive. This artwork is inspired by stillness and movement, with the central figure rooted in contemplative stillness amidst a dynamic backdrop that breathes with intensity and life. The red flows and twists around her, a testament to the inherent energy of the natural world, and a reminder of our inner fire that burns.
