"Mondi Man" is an artistic expression of my connection to the colors of Dutch Caribbean culture. In this work, the man is adorned in an ensemble that channels the essence of our vibrant fashion scene. The pink of his hat mirrors the hue of our flamingo populations, the yellow of his glasses, the warmth of our sun, and the myriad colors of his garment, the diversity of the Antilles itself. It's a celebration of life, a proud affirmation of identity, and a tribute to the dynamic souls of the Dutch Caribbean.
