The Road to Stonehenge

The history of Stonehenge is ladened with mystery and marvel. How did it get there? Who built it? How long did it take them? Standing in front of these massive structures got me thinking about our lives, our consciousness, here on Earth. What little time we have here. The decisions we make, the places we go, the people we meet, the art we create all make lasting impressions on our lives. Here and now. But that’s the thing, right? The “Here and now.” What happens in the realm of “There and later”? The interpretations of our lives, the analysis of the relationships we created, the inspection of the art we created. That’s the real question. For me, so long as I live my life traveling down a path I’m proud to explore, I can die happy knowing that my intention and purpose won’t be left to question. // NOTE: This photo is part of MetaObscura's "The AE-1" project, originally taken in England in 2017 on my Canon AE-1, double-exposed in-camera on Ilford FP4 Plus 35mm film.
