Between the years of 2016 and 2020, I was on the street with my camera shooting the moments I knew we’d be talking about for years to come. Marches, protests, civil unrest. But it wasn’t without intention. I took my father’s Canon AE-1 and my grandfather’s film he had left me when he passed, seeking to capture multi-generational moments with a multi-generational set of tools. / / Bridging the gap between past, present, and future. / / May we never forget the struggles of our ancestors, lest we fight unprepared in the battles of our present, to secure a better future for ourselves and our children.
