Gaudí was born in Reus, and as a tribute to the centenary of his death, I have created a collection of eight artworks inspired by his profound connection with nature. They will be displayed as a tribute to Gaudí on a traveling exhibition across various institutional buildings.
The Nautilus, a natural expression of the golden ratio, occupies the realm of human thought until it merges with the face itself. Nature and the mind share the same invisible architecture, reminding us that organic growth and artistic creation answer to one and the same universal order.
The spiral form of the Nautilus shell was a constant source of inspiration for Gaudí when designing staircases, vaults, and other architectural elements. He believed that nature's forms solve structural problems in the most efficient and beautiful way, making them the perfect model for architecture.
