Gaudí was born in Reus, and as a tribute to the centenary of his death, I have created a collection of eight artworks inspired by his profound connection with nature. They will be displayed as a tribute to Gaudí on a traveling exhibition across various institutional buildings.
This piece materializes the fusion between human thought and the Gaudinian Neo-Gothic style of the Episcopal Palace of Astorga. The face becomes the invisible foundation of the chapel: a perfect symmetry where the ribbed vaults spring directly from the gaze, as though the stone were the projection of the mind itself.
In this work, the architecture of Astorga ceases to be a rigid, religious space and transforms into a biological temple.
The arches pulse subtly to the rhythm of an invisible heartbeat, while the lines of the stone merge with living flesh—turning the traditional mystical experience into an organic, immersive, and digital revelation.
