The world is full of distractions, and they can keep us from recognizing what is right in front of us. We can sometimes execute things correctly but in the wrong place, preventing us from achieving the desired outcome. This may occur when there is a lack of clarity or direction.
When we are frustrated and things do not appear to be going as planned, one of the things we must do is distance ourselves from all forms of distractions in order to see clearly. This separation necessitates the search of divine intervention, in which we devote more time to communicating with a higher spiritual authority.
We can be led into this phase of solitude willingly or out of dissatisfaction but in either case, the end goal should be the strong desire to achieve insight and act on it to get the proper result.
Every man with a purpose in life will pass through this phase at some point, and one of the best methods to get the best results during this phase is to engage in prayer and fasting while working in holiness consciousness. Mark 1:35 NIV:
"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed."
According to Genesis 32:22-32, Jacob had his own encounter while alone and deprived of his power to struggle. This verse informs us that solitude is more beneficial than struggling on our own for years in order to achieve tremendous results or carry out our purpose.
