Conversation with my son

Our modern society, disguised in the pretense of civilization, promotes an unhealthy environment in which many people lack a strong sense of identity, values, and the ability to create meaningful connections that are necessary for a functioning community/nation. When a nation experiences crisis, it often arises from the failure of families to fulfill their responsibilities. A nation is built on communities, which in turn are built on families, all rooted in the institution of marriage. According to the Bible, marriage is the sacred union between a man and a woman, blessed by God. While a good family can be founded on solid values, morals, and principles, a truly successful family conforms to a divine pattern, recognizing God as the head and basing its values on His standards. Though we cannot change the past, we have the power to shape the present and future. By returning to our spiritual foundation in God and establishing families according to His divine blueprint, we can work towards creating a better nation. A father is often seen as the head of the family, bearing significant responsibilities and high expectations. He must not only lead but also serve as a role model for his children, ensuring the continuity of family values. This role is challenging, especially in today's society, but it becomes more manageable when a father understands his purpose and duties, recognizing that he is also the family's spiritual guide. This piece is inspired by an imagined scenario in which I am guiding my son on how to live a purposeful life through my leadership as a father in the family, teaching him about confidence, discipline, life challenges and how to overcome them, work ethics, sense of family, morals, values, and character, all based on the divine pattern inspired by the Holy Spirit as written in the 'word' - the Bible.
