XX — Judgment (Le Jugement)

Judgment is the moment of awakening—the call that breaks through the past and announces a new beginning. The angel’s trumpet represents a higher message, while the figures rising below symbolize rebirth, forgiveness, and the liberation of what has long remained buried. In the Tarot de Marseille tradition, Judgment speaks of reconciliation, revelation, and the emergence of a new consciousness. It is not about punishment, but about answering a deeper calling: recognizing who we have become, releasing what no longer belongs to us, and rising into a transformed life.
