A Shelf Portrait

The first in this series, and a personal "Shelf Portrait" of my own mementos, treasures, and keepsakes that live with me in my home. This will be an ongoing collection of still life explorations around the "shelfie" filled with objects, books, and other items unique to our own identities and personality, things that keep our memories and sentiments. This will be an ongoing series that explores our shelves as selves, In my process, all works begin digitally - from photograph to elements enhanced in ai production and composited by hand in photoshop + hand digital illustration on tablet and generative fill in some parts too. When a digital work is completed it is then hand-sketched on canvas and painted from this digital reference by eye. Collectors Note: - - This digital artwork, the first in this series, is priced for the DIGITAL only and WILL be painted on canvas (available separately). As always, collectors of the digital works get first dibs to reserve the painted work first, before it is made available to the public. Please note that there are natural characteristic traits that differ from pixel to painting, but are otherwise near identical. Painting are done entirely by eye/hand so there will be subtle differences.
