UNTAMED

"UNTAMED" is a vibrant mixed media collage that captures the essence of nature's unbridled beauty. Created by Monika, a physical based abstract artist known for her colourful and eclectic style, using a mixture of acrylic and metallic paint, watercolours, oil chalks, pastel chalks, coloured pencils, felt pens, coloured papers, and glitter on paper resulting in a multi-dimensional artwork that is full of texture, depth, and energy. Originally created as a 50x70cm piece, "UNTAMED" has been transformed into a digital NFT with dimensions of 5000x7500px. This 1/1 NFT is her debut piece in Monograma SuperRare Space, an art platform that supports social impact projects aimed at addressing global challenges like climate change, hunger, poverty, and inequality. Thirty percent of all sales from Monograma go towards funding these important initiatives, chosen by the MONOGRAMA community. "UNTAMED" draws inspiration from Monograma's projects in the Amazon and Monika's own personal journey as an artist. The piece showcases the untamed beauty of nature with vibrant colours and intricate details that create a sense of movement and life. It is a true celebration of the wildness and unpredictability of nature, and a call to action to protect and preserve it for future generations. The Amazon is a region that holds immense importance for the global climate and the heritage of the Amazon tribes with threats facing this vital ecosystem, including deforestation, climate change, and exploitation. Creating "UNTAMED" is an homage to the incredible beauty and power of the Amazon while also drawing attention to the urgent need for action to protect it and the unique knowledge and wisdom held by the Amazon tribes, who have lived in harmony with nature for centuries. This knowledge is essential to understanding and preserving the delicate balance of the Amazon ecosystem and ensuring its survival for generations to come. Monika is a seasoned artist who has been creating art for as long as she can remember. She began exploring NFTs in July 2021 and has since been invited to showcase her work on platforms like Foundation, KnownOrigin, and SuperRare, has exhibited at various events around the world, and has shipped a lot of her physical art worldwide. While she primarily mints on the Ethereum blockchain, she also has some playful drawings on Tezos and Ordinals on BitCoin. Since she struggles with self-doubts like many artists do, creating a piece that would be her debut in the Monograma SuperRare Space surely was a daunting task. However, her passion for art and her desire to make a difference in the world have fueled her determination to create something truly special. At times, Monika has also dealt with depression and anxiety, and art always has been a powerful outlet for her to express her emotions and find solace in her creativity. With "UNTAMED", Monika has created a vibrant work of art that is sure to captivate and inspire art enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. A powerful NFT that speaks to her personal struggles, her passion for creativity, and her commitment to making a positive impact in the world. It is also a testament to the enduring beauty and importance of the Amazon, and a call to action to protect and preserve it for future generations. All bidders in the first auction of this artwork will receive a free airdrop of another Monograma inspired piece via her own Smart Contract "SuperAIRdrops": https://opensea.io/assets/ethereum/0x04a3fa2f6bd7a44bcc763bd1098953210515f38c/2 This is an 1/1 NFT, created from a mixed media collage using acrylic paint, metallic paint, watercolours, oil chalks, pastel chalks, coloured pencils, felt pens, coloured papers, and glitter on paper | orig 50x70cm, in February 2023, by Monika | Dimensions 5000x7500px.
