Last Son

A photo inspired by Superman. Moved by scenes of blue ice and the golden sun representing an unwavering beacon of hope, I sought out this composition in nature. This photo was captured after several days of navigating abandoned shelf roads that used to service the gold rush era, and several more days spent waiting for the fog to lift from this particular exit of the massive glacier that separates British Columbia and Alaska.
