THE COMMODORE

I wanted to recreate that first feeling I felt when I saw our first computer lit up and ready to go in my dad's office. The place was cluttered with old books and the desk was this old, tacky brown fake woodgrain motif. But that Commodore 64, a computer with a total of 64bits of ram, was the first vehicle for me to dream in digital. It was the first time I ever made digital art, the first time I ever wrote on a keyboard, and the first love I ever had with a tech item. With this illustration, I wanted to show the pure feeling of the computer at the ready, the lights and cursor dotting, as if to say they were waiting for my command.
