CLASSIFIED REPORT – INCIDENT 045/HVG
Subject: Security Breach — [REDACTED] Game Development Company
Location: [REDACTED] Hotel Conference Suite, [REDACTED]
Date of Incident: [REDACTED]
Clearance Level: EYES ONLY
At approximately 03:47 AM, an unauthorized breach was detected during a confidential off-site meeting involving senior developers from [REDACTED], a game development company working on undisclosed next-gen IP. Forensic sweep of the temporary operations room revealed two glass ashtrays containing smoked cigarette butts — consistent with Marlboro Red and an unidentified Russian brand. A 350ml Coca-Cola can was left partially full on the suite's desk. Nearby, investigators recovered two empty Marlboro Red packs, one Marlboro Gold pack, and a fourth Marlboro Red pack with “PSP” handwritten across its front in faded ink.
Crucially, a Sony PlayStation Portable (Model PSP-2001, Year 2007) was found beneath the conference table. The device had been factory reset prior to recovery, suggesting intentional data wiping. No additional digital storage devices were found on site. The presence of the PSP, coupled with signs of late-night activity and missing documents, has raised concerns about embedded malware and potential espionage.
The security camera feed from the hotel is currently under forensic review. At this stage, no visual identification of the suspect(s) has been confirmed. All further developments remain [REDACTED] pending internal review.
