These sand dunes normally look extremely white. This photograph was taken after a brief shower of rain which revealed different coloured sand patterns unlike anything I have ever seen.
These images also carry a huge trick of the eye as it feels like the viewer looking at a flat surface when in reality there are vertical gradients present from this dune system that stands over 120 metres tall at points.
