An incredible moment featuring a pair of critically endangered Bourdain Black And White Cockatoo flying past me.
These birds are so amazing to be around, they are large gentle creatures who inhabit the forested lands of Western Australia's southwest. As we keep removing their habitats, and with these birds being polite towards other birds, If there is already a bird inhabiting their natural nesting hollows in the trees we keep removing, they simply dont breed, and the numbers decline. Coupled with the Western Australian Government blocking any breeding programs, these beautiful creatures will remain under pressure. but they just stay in synchronicity with each other.
