Flying above a salt lake in the Great Southern Region, while on the road to Huzzas. I stopped in at one of few web3 artists from Western Australia, Andrew Hooker, He hadn't been out in a while. He took me to an area not far from his house where there is a miles lone stretch of salt lakes of a all sizes, it is so intriguing to see the blistered landscape from above and completely different colouration due to the salinity level of the water body. Along the edges of one of the bigger lakes, most fairly full of water thanks to the strong winter rains.
This image forms part of a personal challenge to improve my artistic level looking at things from above. I love the humbling nature of photographing with others, and reviewing after, where I see things I didnt even think of in the moment at the time, as I did when Andrew shared his favourites. In those moments of "ahh I should have done this or that" is where the most learning takes place. A great experience and we were both inspired. None of this, me even having an opportunity to grow and learn would not even be remotely possible without the support so I will keep working hard on this area and growing this body of work from an incredible planet called Huzzas.., I mean Earth. Thank you.
