A Rock Wave! or Wave Rock, located in the remote Western Australian outback near a town called Hyden this natural sculpture holds a huge cultural significance. My Father was a teacher in the local school. It felt really cool to be walking in his footsteps as they were there the year before I was born. The different colourations come from where natural rainfall run off brings and removes sediment creating the lines of differing shaded granite ochre. Was able to spend a good amount of time sitting contemplating without interruption. A very special place.
