The idea that created the Sky Scraper project! This image is everything. It is the pinnacle of the flight experience for me over New York City. Flying in an unpressurized aircraft at 15,000' is like nothing I've ever done before. There are oxygen requirements for the pilot. Atmospheric conditions become more of an issue when you're almost 3 miles above your subject matter. If there is too much humidity in the air, the shallow angle of the light can obscure your field of view. All was overcome to offer you this final image of the entire island of Manhattan, The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey. The winner of the auction will also receive a second token of the landscape orientation of this image!!
