As the street lights come on, and the never ending glow of neon signs awake and twitch into existence, you pull your bag strap tight over your shoulder and take to the streets to start your shift. The Night Shift. You move through clouds of sewer vapor and ignore the layers of trash beneath you, the rusted and out of service graffiti'd telephone booths and sketchy characters across the street at the noodle shop. You decide to look up and take in the beauty of the city above you. Sometimes its easier to just look at the bigger picture. The details of the grimey city will always be there, but a view of the city like this only happens every once in a while. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This was a labor of love to create a dense and rich cyberpunk environment. The importance of this piece resides in the level of knowledge I gained as an artist to create this work. It is a testament to my commitment of 3d art and a love for the craft no matter how hard or time consuming a task can be. A proof of work that displays my interest of sci-fi and cyberpunk aesthetics and an attention to detail while creating simulated worlds and environments to experience. With that said, this piece could not have been possible without the guidance and assistance of David Ariew. This piece was created while attending his Lights Camera Render course with the School of Motion.
