Starting at the age of 6, the only career I wanted to pursue was baseball. That has been the only choice on my mind for years. Entering into the art world this past year has been a surprise to say the least. I have always been involved with the arts and all things creative with my family, but never expected to embrace the role as both an athlete and an artist simultaneously. I have had this past year to realize how similar the two are, how much art does for my baseball career and vice versa. It has been a blessing, for a baseball player like myself, to enter into the art world and discover this new dream and passion of mine. Entering into this new passion was the inspiration behind this piece, “It’s All a Dream.”
