On a Monday evening In the business district of Ginza Tokyo, not far from Shimbashi, 2 men stroll down the avenue where many hostess and geisha-like bars are located. The streets are lined with drivers and clubs that are well... let’s just say they are usually owned by yakuza. Here salarymen entertain clients or hope to find a listening ear to all their horrible jokes and complaints about their bosses. Their wives are usually fine with this arrangement because they don't have to listen to their prattling...as long as they don't part with too much money. The Geisha-like figure on the right is showing her age, trapped in a dystopian world of mindless uncle jokes and endless stories. This is the first piece of “The Ojisan Triptych”.
