Rebirth

In a fever of a dream, I surrender to the flames. I let it set my whole being ablaze. When it all dies down, ash settles and illusions dissipate, there is but only me, finally awake. In the silence of the colossal wreck, I stand in the lessons of my mistakes. A fertile ground for a newer me, reborn slightly wiser and more aware.
