TOTEM 2 Dongdeum Korea Edition is a striking digital sculpture that fuses the organic with the mythological. The humanoid figure, poised in a crouched stance, appears as if forged from molten bronze and translucent stone, its form pierced and armored with golden, flame-like shards. The skeletal, almost dinosaur-like head evokes primal energies, while the jagged appendages erupting from its body suggest transformation, defense, or ritualistic adornment. Set against a sterile concrete backdrop and standing atop a textured pedestal, this work contemplates identity, mutation, and ancestral echoes—blending futuristic design with echoes of Korean totemic traditions.
