The Inner Shadow

Medusa is the face of what we suppress the shadow of the psyche we refuse to see. She is the mirror of our buried instincts, a fusion of desire and fear, power and shame. When the world cursed her gaze, she turned it inward. Every serpent became a thought once silenced, every glance a wound from being misjudged. Medusa is not a monster she is the reflection of our collective shadow, the forgotten shape of feminine power that was feared, and so, demonized. We turn to stone not from her curse, but from recognition the moment we finally see what we truly are.
