Temper

Since the beginning of time, humanity has imagined a consciousness that exists by burning. Made of fire, of light, or simply of vibration. What remained constant was this: Closeness demands intensity. And intensity burns. True awakening is not born from comfort. It comes through fracture. Through loss. Through disappointment. Through the courage to fall apart and gather oneself again. Pain cracks the shell of awareness. To burn is to pass through that crack. In every burning, a person faces two possibilities: To become ash and disappear or to be born again. What determines the outcome is not the fire itself, but the relationship formed with it. When a person does not deny the fire that burns them, they can begin to direct it. It ceases to be destruction and becomes fuel. It transforms instead of scattering. This is not surrender. It is mastery. To burn without losing control, to light something small and earthly from the very flame that consumes you, that is strength.
