A digital exploration of imagery to compliment a poem I first published in 2016 titled :The Cynic."
"The cynic in me lifts her blade
to my throat
in that familiar,
wordless caution.
This is abuse.
How can I love under such threat?
She demands:
1) Numbered lists
2) Written lyrics
3) Analysis of every dream
4) desire
5) touch
and
6) Honorless fealty.
She takes:
Everything. "
