The Watch Tower started as an original painting and has been further advanced digitally where it stands separately as a unique image, yet formally the drawing and the build up of transparent layers still characterise the work.
It presents three close figures huddled on the lookout together in the heights of an imaginary tree house fortress, acting like a form of surveillance.
It presents swinging hair and legs as the figures bide time, ladled with symbolism through the rainbow on the horizon; it is a moment of standing guard against invasion from the outside world. There are boundaries, perimeters, safety nets.
