Once sunset was taking place I couldn't see the moon. It was behind this giant arch way. One of many Iconic Landmarks in Arches National Park.
My goal was to get the moon inside Arch. But once I seen how large it was I got sidetracked. It was the biggest and brightest Full Moon I have ever seen.
I was mapping out this location for days on end. The roadway leading to this area shares a pathway vibe.
This image brings so much art within one image. The road signifies a path towards the Strawberry Moon.
This moon cycle is the closest the Moon will get to earth and it does linger lower on the horizon because of it.
After capturing this composition I was completely floored by the energy felt not only by this image but the Moon itself.
Lovers moon
I did capture a few more images. But this image with the foreground stood out as the front runner. Minting this on the Midnight Hour 6/22/2024
