The native Hawaiian Pueo is the short Eared owl native to the Big Island. Very rare to capture this image. This amazing creature is the highest source of energy. I have not had many occasions where they stand still as I get close.
Today was the exception. Native Pueo Owl is a Guardian to our Hawaiian Culture.
