This historical image shows the current Taiwan Military now located in Hawaii. Hawaii is a pivotal location for all of the countries Allies. America has special operation to help Republic of China ( Taiwan) maintain its country.
As a native Hawaiian we have been seeing ongoing tension within these areas for decades.
I stand with PEACE But like to document all types of imagery around the globe. This area is restricted and I do have access for journalist purposes.
Native Hawaiians do have access to all land within the state due to ancestry ties.
Please note this image is Journalism from my Hawaiian Ancestry. We do host many people from every country. We live with Aloha and promote that in our everyday lifestyle.
Documenting this time period is to show a very different side of art. I have been fortunate to host some of these men and women into my family home. As we prepared food and shared smiles. Unity and aloha amongst beers and laughs.
Notice the trucks are very small compared to American trucks. The license plate have numbers and was all shipped from there base located in Taiwan.
Very unique art. This image is from a very historical moment as tension is at it's peak. Main reason I will mint this one and only image. Journalist image from my humble side of the planet.
Taiwan's military, officially known as the Republic of China Armed Forces, is tasked with defending Taiwan from external threats, particularly from mainland China, which claims Taiwan as part of its territory. The ROC Armed Forces consist of four main branches:
Army: The largest branch, responsible for land-based defense operations. It focuses on maintaining readiness against a potential invasion, with a strong emphasis on missile defense, armored vehicles, and infantry capabilities.
Navy: Tasked with protecting Taiwan's territorial waters and maritime interests. It includes destroyers, frigates, submarines, and amphibious assault ships, as well as naval aviation.
Air Force: Plays a critical role in air defense and early warning systems. It operates advanced aircraft, including F-16s and Indigenous Defense Fighters (IDFs), with a focus on intercepting threats from the air.
Military Police: Provides security and protection of high-level government officials, key installations, and crucial infrastructure.
Given Taiwan's geographic position and the ongoing tensions with China, the military focuses heavily on asymmetric warfare, aiming to counterbalance China's numerical superiority with advanced technology, precision weaponry, and defensive strategies. The military collaborates with the United States and other allies for weapons acquisitions and training.
In recent years, Taiwan has increased defense spending and accelerated modernization efforts to address the growing pressure from China's military expansion. Taiwan also emphasizes civil defense and reserves, which play a key role in the nation's comprehensive defense strategy.
