I work on a Zodiac Boat during the winter months.
We do shark dives as well. But I love Humpback Whales because they come over seasonal only.
Winter months Humpback Whales come from the North Pacific to give birth. It is breeding grounds for this species of ocean creatures.
They can't be born up north due to the coldness of the ocean.
Once the Baby is born the mother and Escort which is not the father teaches the calf how to jump. Calfs can only hold their breath for 5-10 min.
I am writing this in my Pidgin slang so bare with me.
The father to these humpback babies actually hit and run. They do not stay around the mate. It's a very odd process yet studied across various countries.
So this young whale is learning how to breach.
As the mother did jump few times but I did not get the image. We was far away and the stars did not align for it. But I manage to get the calf. Which I love dearly.

The land of our Island intrigues the naked eye.
From the WaterWorld of the pacific to island of oahu.
Background is Waialua and that road in image is one of the most dangerous roads on the island. Mainly by humans. They race up and down that road due to its curves.
The locals know that road and I would advise my kids to never drive this road at night.
The green land of oahu with that road coming down in one composition is a 1/1 image.
