I calculated numbers as we seen feet of rain come into our community at once. I was unaware of this damage.
Being inside I seen videos sent from family sharing what could happen if the nearby river would overflow. I did not think nothing of it. Because nearly every single time this happen we managed to dodge mass floods.
Not this day! I seen raging rivers overflow turning the once lush beauty of Oahu North shore into pure chaos. The dirt in Hawaii is lush and Red. Most of which is from the richness of the soil. The land is naturally vibrant.
Once the river overflow so did homes. The community I was raised by was under water. Most of the area had gotten over 4ft of rain in hours. This area doesn't rain much.
The Red layer on the top of this ocean indicates how the soil is here in Hawaii. This color soil is never on the top of the ocean. This drone image is 300 yards off the coast.
This mint and Art is donated from me to this community. The fiat is donated from the owner of this Art Piece. I am making this a quick one. Because I need to get back to home depot and deliver blowers to dry out the walls in hopes we can save certain areas.
I am not the best at writing things in detail. Especially when the Community needs help.
Much Love and Aloha
