The Harvester

The Harvester is the Goddess of Serenity, of renewal, of energy synchronicity. She is confident she has earned her stride, centered, exuding an unassailable peace. Even if unconvinced, she performs the behavior that she desires her future self to have, she balances compassion and consistency and never fails to take things with humor. She harvests, stores, and accumulates clean energy with her system of planetary fabrics harnessing the winds, as her impact on her environment is a reflection of her relationship to herself. The Harvester is a generative animation connected to real-time data in which the digital and the physical are connected in symbiotic exchange. When the rate of clean energy production in a calendar day rises above the rate of the same day the year before it, this deity begins to effervesce into extinction. This transformation explores how our connection as humans and our relationship to our technology is intertwined, and provides a hopeful index of humanity making an effort to move away from ecological demise.
