From “Our Mothers Wore Light Like This”
There are some stories that don’t need voices only presence.
This piece holds one of those stories.
It’s about all the things our mothers carried quietly:
their hopes, their hurts, their strength, and their stillness.
Sometimes, love didn’t sound like “I love you.”
It looked like showing up. It looked like enduring.
And even in silence, they were teaching us.
This image is a pause
an invitation to remember the women who held everything together,
even when no one noticed.
It doesn’t ask for attention.
It simply reminds us:
some of the strongest things in life never make a sound.
